Newad announces a new stage in the growth of NIGHTLIFE.CA, the current guide to city life and culture in Montreal. The website, which has tripled its number of page views and visitors over the last 12 months, today unveils several initiatives designed to enhance the user experience and optimize its offer and the quality of its advertising space.
“NIGHTLIFE.CA is renowned for being an avant-garde brand. That reality generates expectations on the part of our advertisers and the 220,000 Montrealers who inform and entertain themselves every month on any one of our platforms,” comments Martine Desjardins, Newad’s Executive Vice-President, Publishing and Content. “This new approach to highlighting the breadth of our content is supported by a design revamp, which from the start, took those expectations into consideration. We will therefore reinforce our ability to create the best possible encounters between Internet users and brands,” adds Desjardins.
Thus, a behavioural analysis of Internet users motivated NIGHTLIFE.CA to review the layout of its advertising formats as well as the website’s ergonomics in order to encourage a better click rate. The website has also upwardly revised the pace of its content production, and has accepted users’ anonymous comments, thereby bolstering its commitment to instigate even more active conversations. As for behavioural trends, the NIGHTLIFE.CA team observed that 14% of Internet users today visit the website using their mobile devices. 16,000 Facebook subscribers are already fans of NIGHTLIFE.CA.
In early March, NIGHTLIFE.CA will also unveil a range of tools for advertisers when it publishes a media kit featuring a comprehensive overview of its offer, including rates and technical specifications for its website, its magazine, its newsletter, its iPhone application and its sponsored event division.
