Account Manager, Experiential Marketing

Job description

Newad is looking to add an Account Manager with beverage/alcohol category experience to our Experiential Marketing team in Toronto.

Account Managers at Newad are responsible for building marketing campaigns for clients while leading and overseeing a team through execution of those campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for campaign development, budget creation and overall management on multiple projects;

  • Promotes and nurtures organic growth with each client relationship;

  • Client lead on all campaigns, communications and client management (regionally and nationally);

  • Answers requests for proposals, researches information and the necessary tools to prepare proposals;

  • Prepares and participates in client pitches with Director’s support;

  • Develop ideas and leads brainstorm sessions;

  • Producing measurable business results for our clients;

  • Oversees master campaign plan and critical path;

  • Prepares and manages detailed budgets, implement cost control, savings and efficiencies;

  • Oversees the training of Infield teams on all campaigns (traveling to other markets required);

  • Coordinate the work of internal and external teams;

  • Contributes to the development of new methodologies and diffusion of innovative practices in Experiential marketing;

  • Proactively identifies problems and develops solutions;

  • Delivering on-time and on-budget;

  • Coordinate the work of internal and external teams;

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in an Experiential Marketing/events company either in account management/client services;

  • College or University degree in Marketing or relevant degree (relative experience can also be taken into account);

  • Solid understanding of Experiential Marketing;

  • Team management or leadership experience;

  • Strong organizational skills/attention to detail;

  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills;

  • Ability to multitask;

  • Creative problem solving;

  • Client service oriented;

  • Optimistic;

  • Self motivated;

  • Detailed knowledge of MS Office (PowerPoint, Word and Excel);

  • Open the traveling within Canada.
