Newad is at the forefront of the industry for its advertising compliance according to COMB’s most recent audit

November 26, 2010 —

According to the most recent audit report published by the Canadian Out-Of-Home Measurement Bureau (COMB), Newad has attained the highest efficiency rate in the industry in the area of advertising compliance. In COMB’s annual Proof of Performance Audit Report, released in November, Newad’s efficiency rate was calculated at 99,8 % for the period of July 1st, 2009 to June 30th, 2010. Thanks to these near-perfect performance results, Newad is now at the head of the indoor advertising sector, which has an average efficiency rate of 98,6 %. This statistic proves that strict network management within a company yields truly effective results.

The purpose of COMB’s random Proof of Performance Audits is to ensure that any advertising by its members strictly complies with COMB-issued guidelines and all other related policies. To perform an audit, COMB sends field auditors to each location to evaluate a representative number of randomly-selected advertising faces. Once field work has been completed, the results of these monthly verifications are compared with strict COMB-approved criteria and compiled to create an annual report on the performance of COMB members and, more specifically, of each company.
