Newad announces its fastest network expansion since 1995

March 8, 2011 —

Newad is announcing today the fastest-ever expansion of its indoor advertising network, with the addition of 150 new establishments to its RestoBars, Sports and Campus networks. When the boards will be installed in the upcoming weeks, the company will be partnering with a total of 2,500 venues across Canada.

These new venues, located in Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary and Halifax, are known for their trendsetting clientele largely made up of the Young & Affluent – a coveted target market notorious for its evasion of traditional media.

“This network expansion is an important step in Newad’s continuous growth and is directly attributable to months of strategic negotiations undertaken by our network development teams,” says Michael Reha, President and CEO of Newad. “We listen to the Young & Affluent and we keep up with them, which explains the high level of interest in our networks. Always being in accordance with their current lifestyle, habits and aspirations has enabled us to optimize the effectiveness and high quality of our offer for brands wishing to engage young Canadian adults.”

Newad’s new partners include, among others – In Toronto: Jacob & Co Steakhouse and Akco Lounge. In Montreal: La Queue de Cheval and Le Pois Penché. In Vancouver: The New Oxford and R.TL. In Edmonton: Jack’s Grill and Earl’s. In Calgary: Bass Brothers Lincoln Park and World Health Club. In Halifax: Hunt Club and Slim Gyms Fitness.

Recall that Newad has recently announced an $8 million investment in the pan-Canadian placement of new digital boards.
