Reporting to the Director, Strategic Planning and Programmatic Sales, the Analyst will be responsible for analysing relevant consumer data from many sources (1st, 2nd and 3rd party data) in order to update periodically audiences reached by Newad’s network and in order to identify media trends and consumer’s consumption habits.

Responsibilities

  • Stay up to date on the most recent development in terms of data collection (mobile, social medias, online) and programmatic buying,
  • Analyse first and third party data in order to identify audience profiles present in Newad’s networks,
  • Guide the selection of an external supplier for consumer data collection and coordinate future projects with them,
  • Collaborate to the development of best practices when it comes to buying digital advertising (DOOH),
  • Support the sales team by providing clear concise PowerPoint Presentations summarizing data insight on the effectiveness of Newad’s indoor advertising platforms,
  • Monitor the industry, other types of media and competitors to stay ahead of trends,
  • Produce written reports and insightful powerpoint presentations,

Qualifications

  • Solid knowledge of digital marketing tools and best practices,
  • Passion for emerging tech and media,
  • Knowledge of broad range of online advertising media channels,
  • Bachelor degree in marketing, mathematics, business or relevant field,
  • Two years’ experience in meda,
  • Knowledge of the following ad technologies: DSP, SSP, RTB, Ad Exchange, Google/Adobe Analytics, Double Click, Facebook Ads,
  • Knowledge of cross-device measurement, ad attribution models,
  • Experience in project management,
  • Experience working with a DMP (an asset),
  • Experience in programmatic (an asset),
  • Knowledge of SPSS and multivariate analysis principles (An asset)
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize information
  • Rigorous and methodical
  • Command of both official languages (French, English), both in verbal and written form
  • Able to manage priorities and to handle several con
