Reporting to the Director, Sales, IA - Central Canada, the Account Manager offers support to the Account Executives and is involved in all aspects of the sales process. He/she is responsible for a variety of clerical and administrative tasks related to sales activities.
Responsibilities
- Writes proposals, letters and contracts for Account Executives and prepares media kits and information sheets;
- Submits research requests for the Account Executives;
- Prepares all decks for proposals;
- Participates in the preparation of meetings and presentations to clients by making reservations and gathering the necessary data and material;
- Manages the reservations of the laptop and projector for presentations;
- Accompanies Account Executives on some presentations to clients;
- Coordinates the preparation of campaigns with suppliers, Account Executives and clients;
- Ensures all required contract documents are attached in CRM;
- Maintains up to date and accurate campaign tracking system to ensure that all parties concerned receive information on time and materials arrive on time in all markets;
- Sends campaign instructions to inventory department;
- Jointly with the Inventory department, prepares lists and reports on frames;
- Coordinates the exchange of campaign material with clients;
- Coordinates media extensions by building and managing budgets and proposals as well as calling suppliers;
- Prepares Posting Campaign Analysis and Post Execution Analysis;
- Reviews Sales Reports to ensure accuracy;
- Maintains up-to-date information in CRM;
- Reviews daily newspapers (Adnews, Marketing Daily, etc.);
- Collects leads from Adnews and Marketing Daily and distributes them to Director and Indoor Advertising after cross-referencing with CRM;
- Acts as contact point with Marketing;
- Attends and participates in all sales meetings;
- Executes various administrative tasks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Advertising, Marketing or Communications or any other relevant diploma;
- 2-3 years experience in a sales support position;
- Sales driven;
- Team player;
- Results oriented;
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills;
- Customer service oriented;
- Very organized;
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Act.
