Press

We like to share the good news. Big time. We thus felt it important to devote a small section of the site to all those delightful press releases full of five-syllable words. And given that we openly share all that’s going on, that sort of gives you the right to snoop around.

Major expansion for Newad OnLine: National launch of two new bilingual sites and eight newly added sites to its OnLine Network

Targeting the Young and Affluent, the Newad OnLine Network announces the national launch of two bilingual web properties targeting an 18 to 35 crowd, 33Mag.com and TPLmag.com, in addition to the integration of eight new websites to its OnLine Network.

Launch of 33MAG and TPL in Canada

Already recognized as a boardsport reference in the province of Quebec, 33Mag.com now features a new graphic layout and bilingual content which targets skate, surf and snowboard enthusiasts looking for online entertainment that's in tune with their lifestyle. In the image of its powerful visual identity, the new website presents original and exclusive material that reflects its dauntless, adventurous and irreverent nature. Brian Hockenstein, a reporter and photographer himself who is known the world over for his sensational shots, heads the talented team of contributors that includes photographers, videographers and journalists from across the country, who help make 33Mag the go-to site for skate, surf and snow aficionados.

On another note, TPL (The pretty looks), a website dedicated to fashion and style, is geared towards young women who are curious, cultivated, urban and mobile, all the while presenting original, bilingual content in a straightforward format. With a unique tone that is both humorous and incisive, it dedramatizes fashion using an exclusive approach that places it in a league of its own. Highly involved in the fashion and design community, sisters Josiane and Carolane Stratis (Montreal) along with Marie-Hélène Goulet (Vancouver) are steering a team of contributors from across the country who provide current, bilingual content on a daily basis. TPL’s philosophy? Making fashion accessible and fun without taking oneself to seriously.

"We are very happy with the progress made over the past year by these two brands. Led by young, curious and dynamic teams, these websites have everything to please the Young and Affluent. ", explains Martine Desjardins, Executive Vice President of Web and Content at Newad, which acquired TPL and 33Mag in November 2011. The websites have continuously grown since, both in content and popularity.

Both sites were redesigned by the Newad OnLine web development team using a responsive web design approach in order to render them universally compatible with smartphones and various tablet screen sizes. These changes are excellent news for present and future advertisers as this technology ensures ad placement is always optimized to the size and orientation of the screen, no matter the device it is viewed on.

Eight new partners added to its OnLine Network

Newad also announces that its OnLine Network is welcoming eight new partners. These websites are in line with the Young and Affluent’s online habits and tendencies.
