The media industry is in a constant state of change as a result of increasing demands from clients and consumers alike. As the industry changes, NEWAD felt it was important to use a proactive approach. Rather than looking within, NEWAD wanted to become more consumer-centric and this meant making a corporate commitment to research and development.

Not only did NEWAD join national organizations, like the Canadian Outdoor Measurement Bureau (COMB) but it also increased its knowledge internally by developing tools for its sales teams. As a result of this type of initiative, NEWAD better understands the industry in which it works, and the different issues its clients face regarding the industries in which they plan and work.
