As we start the New Year, we propose establishments with healthy and delicious menus within our network partners.

Mélisse is the latest project of Caroline Desgagné, former partner of the Soupsoup group in Old Montreal.  Images of the beautiful establishment, designed by Montreal firm Lovasi, have widely been circulating in the media. The menu consists of light, well-balanced, healthy meals such as sandwiches, toasts, salads and soups prepared from fresh ingredients by chef Bertrand Giguère. This place doesn’t compromise health for taste.

Inspired by SoCal themed restaurants, owner Charles Manceau wanted to offer his clients a variety of healthy dishes, full of veggies: green smoothies, poke bowls, salads, tacos et the classic and very trendy avo-toast. The premises boasts a luminous atmosphere with botanical accents giving summer paradise vibes.  The blue floors and yellow walls, in addition to a surfboard and bike décor, evoke the Californian oceanside. Proud of the success with their first location in Old Montreal, the owners of Venice recently opened a second restaurant just as colorful in heart of downtown.

Tommy Café

The tommy is one of the nicest cafés in Montreal. Established in an old building (dating back to the 1860s), the place cleverly combines the unique architecture of the building with a clean modern décor.  It was designer Zébulon Perron, known for his work, among others, at Gringer and Hachoir, who mastered this successful décor. The focal point of the place is indisputably the intricate ceilings and green foliage, which has been plastered across Instagram following the opening of the restaurant.  Ideal place to eat light, the menu offers toasts, grilled cheese sandwiches and other healthy and fresh snacks, in addition to a some alcohol bevrages the bar.
