A dynamic campaign for Le Massif de Charlevoix

Le Massif de Charlevoix, in collaboration with agencies Kabane and Sigmund, recently developed a dynamic campaign specially designed for our Restobar Digital boards, which enable the dissemination of data in real time.

The campaign was based on a simple idea: notify skiers of current snow conditions on the mountain with the aim of luring them to the slopes. In order to produce a high-impact and relevant campaign, data had to be accurate and rolled out in real-time.

Thanks to the work of Newad’s development and programming team, in tandem with that of Le Massif de Charlevoix, smart panels were able to broadcast personalized information with each impression of the creative, by means of a web service developed by Sigmund. Thus, when the service would announce a 20 cm snow alert, the Massif creative would display an animated snow drift indicating 20 cm on the scale as well as the build-up from previous days (past 24 hours, 48 hours and 7 days). 

In the absence of an alert, a general ad was broadcast for the duration of the campaign.

The result? A dynamic campaign updated on the basis of a particular piece of data relevant to the audience. Enough to make the activation all the more appealing to the audience and bring skiers to the mountain!
