Reporting to the Director, Sales - Central Canada, this position consists of selling indoor advertising space, establishing long-term relationships with key personnel in advertising agencies and direct clients and providing them with the utmost in customer service in order to foster a trusting relationship and encourage repeat business.

Responsibilities

•    Maximizes sales according to the given objectives by actively soliciting contacts, making strategic presentations to potential clients and by proposing relevant advertising solutions;
•    Maintains a high level of activities (phone calls & meetings at all times);
•    Develops and maintains good business relationships with existing and potential clients and key people in the advertising industry;
•    Utilizes industry connections and personal network to develop new business;
•    Maximizes networking opportunities by continuously ensuring the company presence in various industry events; 
•    Is constantly on the look-out for industry and clients trends, news and information; 
•    Participates actively in all sales meetings, brainstorm sessions and internal and external training seminars;
•    Monitors competitors’ activities;
•    Maintains a high level of organization with all computer files, paperwork documentation and reports.
    
Required Qualifications

•    Minimum of 3 years of experience in a business to business (B2B) sales role;
•    Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or any other relevant field;
•    Sales experience in the out of home industry (asset);
•    Comfortable with initiating first contact with potential clients through cold calling;
•    Solid understanding of the advertising landscape in Toronto (agencies and direct clients) (asset);
•    Solid negotiation and sales closing skills 
•    Relationships with established contact network in the media industry (asset); 
•    Innovative and creative.
