Geneviève Roy named Business Development Director, Eastern Canada, at Newad

Montreal, January 30, 2014 — Newad has announced the appointment of Geneviève Roy as Business Development Director, Eastern Canada. In her new role, she will be tasked with promoting Newad’s multiplatform offering, which enables advertisers to reach the Young & Affluent of Canada.

“It’s incredibly exciting to be involved in developing and securing business opportunities, all the while generating new sources of revenue,” says Geneviève Roy. The HEC Montréal graduate has previously acted as Account Director at TC Media’s 360° Solutions and as Account Director at Rogers Communications, Marketing Solutions. Over the years, she has contributed to the activation of large-scale integrated campaigns for national clients such as Transat, Oakley, and Labatt. “This new challenge is exhilarating because it will allow me to showcase Newad’s comprehensive offering, be it in indoor advertising, experiential marketing, publishing, or web. Newad OnLine has evolved over the last few years, thanks not only to its online network, but also its web properties. Together, they form high-performance, niche platforms with which I look forward to working,” states Geneviève.

Geneviève actually began her career at Newad a few years ago, when she worked on developing the Indoor Advertising network before moving on to the sales department of NIGHTLIFE.CA. “Like many of her colleagues, Geneviève has come back to us!” added Jean-Philippe Leduc. “I think that our creativity and collaborative spirit is what explains this phenomenon, which is relatively uncommon in the marketing and communications industry.” The new director will be based in the company’s headquarters in Montreal, making frequent trips to the Newad offices in Toronto.
