Newad strikes agreement with restaurant giant CARA for indoor boards in more than 200 establishments across Canada

Toronto, April 28th, 2014 — Newad, one of the biggest indoor advertising companies in Canada, announced today the signing of a major agreement with CARA, which operates a great number of brands in the food and restaurant industry, including chains such as Kelsey’s, Montana’s and Milestones.

In 2014 alone, more than 2,000 classic boards and 400 digital boards will be installed in the majority of Kesley’s, Montana’s and Milestones chains of Canada, offering advertisers and local or national brands a potential of 2.5 million new impressions per week.

Over a span of five years, Newad plans to install a total of 4,000 classic boards and 2,000 digital boards across the CARA network, consolidating its assets and reaffirming its position as leader in Canada’s print and digital advertising sector. 

The food services group Cara Operations Limited was founded 130 years ago. The private company has a presence in all of the provinces and employs more than 25,000 people. In the fall of 2013, it merged its operations with Prime Restaurants, which operates the brands East Side Mario’s, Casey’s, Pat and Mario’s, Fionn MacCool’s and Bier Markt.
